1. Prices and payment

1.1The total price, billing frequency, recurring nature (if any), taxes and material charges must be displayed before final checkout. The customer must be able to review and correct the order before payment.

1.2Payments may be processed by PayFast or another approved payment provider. RSTT does not need to receive or store the customer's full payment-card details where a hosted or tokenised payment service is used.

1.3A paid subscription begins when cleared payment is confirmed. Listing publication is subject to completion of onboarding and Route 420 approval.

2. Monthly recurring subscriptions

2.1A monthly recurring subscription renews on the applicable billing date until cancelled.

2.2The customer may cancel at any time before the next renewal is processed. Cancellation takes effect immediately, without refund, and stops future renewal.

2.3A cancellation does not normally create a refund for the current paid monthly period merely because the customer no longer wishes to use the service, subject to statutory rights and the refund grounds below.

3. Annual prepaid subscriptions, if offered

3.1An annual subscription is a discounted 12-month prepayment unless the order states otherwise.

3.2A customer may cancel renewal for the next annual term and normally retains the paid service until the end of the current term.

3.3Unused time is not automatically refundable merely because the customer changes its mind. However, where section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act or another mandatory law applies, the customer may exercise the applicable statutory cancellation right and RSTT may impose only a lawful reasonable cancellation charge determined with regard to the relevant circumstances.

3.4Nothing in this policy is intended to negate or make it practically impossible to exercise a mandatory cancellation right.

4. Onboarding delays caused by the customer

4.1Customers must supply required business information, permissions, logos, descriptions, images and other mandatory onboarding material within 10 business days after payment or request.

4.2The subscription term continues during a customer-caused delay. A failure to provide required material, a failure to respond to onboarding requests, or a decision not to use the service does not by itself create a right to a refund.

4.3If an application remains incomplete for 30 days, Route 420 may close or suspend the incomplete profile. Reactivation may require updated information and, where applicable, a current paid plan.

5. Refunds that will ordinarily be allowed

  • A duplicate payment for the same order or billing period.
  • A payment amount charged in error by RSTT or its payment flow.
  • A paid application rejected by Route 420 before the core listing service is provided, unless a separately agreed non-refundable setup service has already been lawfully performed and disclosed.
  • A core paid listing service that RSTT cannot activate because of an unresolved RSTT/platform failure and cannot reasonably cure after notice.
  • A core service permanently withdrawn by RSTT before delivery.
  • Any refund or cancellation remedy required by applicable law.

5.1Where RSTT materially fails to perform after receiving complete onboarding material, RSTT may offer a cure, service credit, partial refund or full refund depending on the nature and duration of the failure and the customer's statutory rights.

6. Circumstances that do not ordinarily qualify for a refund

  • A change of mind after the paid service has commenced, subject to mandatory cooling-off or cancellation rights.
  • Failure to use the listing or obtain customer enquiries.
  • Customer-caused onboarding delay or missing/inaccurate material.
  • Removal or suspension caused by the customer's breach, unlawful content or serious policy violation.
  • A feature or result that was never included or guaranteed in the selected plan.
  • Third-party business performance, search-engine ranking, social reach, sales, bookings or footfall.

7. Electronic-transaction cooling-off and immediate commencement

7.1South African electronic-transaction law may grant a consumer a cooling-off right for qualifying online services. Applicable exceptions, including where services begin with the consumer's consent before expiry of the relevant period, may apply.

7.2The checkout should therefore include a clear request for immediate commencement of onboarding and activation after payment, separate from the acknowledgement of these Terms, while preserving any right that cannot be excluded.

8. Failed recurring payments and suspension

8.1If a recurring payment fails, RSTT may notify the customer and allow a seven-calendar-day grace period.

8.2If payment remains unresolved after the grace period, RSTT may suspend the public profile and paid benefits. Suspension does not waive amounts already lawfully due.

8.3If the account is brought up to date, Route 420 may reactivate the profile after any required verification or review.

9. After cancellation

9.1Voluntary cancellation normally leaves the paid profile active until the end of the paid period, after which paid benefits end.

9.2Route 420 may temporarily retain the profile in a non-public archive for approximately 30 days to support reactivation, complaints, transaction reconciliation and customer requests, after which personal information no longer needed will be deleted, destroyed or de-identified in accordance with the Privacy Notice and applicable retention duties.

9.3Route 420 may, at its discretion, downgrade a cancelled paid profile to an available free/basic listing if the customer is informed and the retained public information remains appropriate and lawful.

10. Refund method and timing

10.1Refund requests should identify the account, transaction date, amount, reason and supporting evidence. RSTT may verify the request with the payment provider.

10.2Where technically possible, refunds will be returned through the original payment method. Payment-provider rules may require a card refund to be returned to the same card used for the original transaction.

10.3RSTT will process approved refunds without unreasonable delay and within any applicable statutory period. Payment-provider settlement times may affect when funds become visible to the customer.

11. Chargebacks

11.1Customers should contact RSTT first so that genuine billing errors can be investigated. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to account suspension and recovery of lawfully incurred costs, but nothing prevents a customer from using lawful card-dispute rights.

12. Travel services are separate

12.1This policy does not govern a future tour, hotel, flight, transfer, event, activity or other date-specific travel booking. Those products have different supplier costs, booking rules and consumer-law treatment and must use separate RSTT Booking, Cancellation & Refund Terms.
