1. Contracting entity and programme purpose

1.1The Rolling Stoner Authenticated programme is operated by Rolling Stoner (Pty) Ltd ("Rolling Stoner"), unless a written order identifies another contracting entity for a specific service.

1.2The programme is designed to support media visibility, responsible industry participation, editorial storytelling, business improvement and selected platform visibility. The precise paid deliverables are those stated in the partner order, proposal, invoice or signed agreement.

1.3Route 420 map/app listings and RSTT travel services are separate products unless expressly included in writing and financially allocated as such.

2. Meaning of "Authenticated"

2.1Authenticated means that Rolling Stoner has accepted the business into its private programme under Rolling Stoner's own criteria and may have reviewed information or documents relevant to the programme.

2.2Authenticated does not mean that Rolling Stoner has independently proven every legal, regulatory, tax, employment, product, medicine, zoning, safety or consumer-law requirement applicable to the business.

2.3Rolling Stoner does not warrant that a cannabis-related business has a general legal right to retail recreational cannabis. A partner remains solely responsible for its operating model, licences/permits, products, customer transactions and legal advice.

3. Eligibility, information and continuing duties

3.1A business must provide accurate information and, where requested, supporting documents relevant to the programme. Rolling Stoner may request clarification or independent evidence.

3.2The partner must notify Rolling Stoner promptly if a material fact changes, including ownership, location, product category, regulator action, serious complaint, closure, suspension of a licence/permit, or another matter that could make the Authenticated description misleading.

3.3Rolling Stoner may suspend or remove Authenticated status if information is false, outdated or not verifiable; if the partner breaches the programme rules; or if continued association creates material legal, safety, consumer or reputational risk.

4. Cannabis and product-marketing restrictions

4.1Authenticated status must not be used to advertise or facilitate unlawful cannabis dealing, sale, supply, delivery or public consumption.

4.2The partner may not describe the Authenticated badge as proof that government has licensed its cannabis retail model or products.

4.3Rolling Stoner may refuse product prices, purchase links, menus, discount codes, delivery instructions or other content that could make Rolling Stoner or Route 420 a facilitator of unlawful supply.

4.4Health, therapeutic and medicine claims must be supportable and comply with applicable health-product law. Rolling Stoner may require independent regulatory/legal review before publishing such claims.

5. Media deliverables and editorial independence

5.1Only deliverables expressly included in the written order are owed. A general Authenticated relationship does not automatically include unlimited magazine space, photography, video, SEO, social-media campaigns, events or Route 420 placement.

5.2Rolling Stoner retains editorial control over its publications and channels. Paid participation does not guarantee favourable coverage, a particular publication date, search ranking or a specified audience result unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

5.3Sponsored or paid material may be labelled where required by editorial policy or law.

6. Partner content and brand licence

6.1The partner grants Rolling Stoner the rights reasonably necessary to use supplied logos, images, descriptions and approved content to deliver the agreed media services.

6.2Rolling Stoner grants the partner a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the current Authenticated badge during the active authorised period and only in accordance with brand guidelines.

6.3The badge licence ends when Authenticated status expires, is suspended or is terminated. The partner must stop new use and remove the mark from controlled digital channels within a reasonable period specified by Rolling Stoner.

7. Route 420 separation

7.1A Route 420 business listing, Travel Partner plan, pin/profile subscription and Smoke Signal are governed by RSTT/Route 420 terms.

7.2An Authenticated business may be displayed on Route 420 where a separate commercial or licensing arrangement permits it. That display does not merge the two contracts or shift responsibility for the partner's business to RSTT.

8. Fees, term and cancellation

8.1Fees, payment dates, term, media deliverables and cancellation rights are those set out in the specific Authenticated order or agreement, subject to applicable consumer law.

8.2If the programme includes recurring services, any renewal must be clearly disclosed. Nothing in these Terms limits a statutory cancellation right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Complaints, suspension and reputational protection

9.1Rolling Stoner may investigate credible complaints and request a partner response or supporting evidence.

9.2Rolling Stoner may temporarily suspend the badge or related promotion while investigating a serious legal, safety, fraud, privacy, product or consumer concern.

9.3Rolling Stoner will not knowingly publish a partner allegation as fact without appropriate editorial basis and will handle complaints in accordance with applicable law and editorial standards.

10. IMPORTANT - disclaimer and limitation

!
NO LEGAL OR REGULATORY WARRANTY
Rolling Stoner is a media/industry platform, not the partner's lawyer, regulator, auditor, insurer or product certifier. The partner is responsible for obtaining professional advice and proving the lawfulness of its own operations. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Governing law and contact

11.1These Terms are governed by South African law. Specific signed orders may add dispute or service provisions.
